You can order a nylon protector at the top of this page to reduce metal sound, contact with water and make this choke collar more like a usual dog collar.

How to Choose and Use a Herm Sprenger Prong Collar:

Please, follow the instructions when choose a prong collar:

• This neck tech collar fits a dog with neck size 25 inch (65 cm). 1 link is 1 4/5 inch (4.5 cm)
• If you have a dog with smaller neck size, you should remove some links.
• The chain is assembled, so, if the neck size of your dog is smaller, you need to remove some links.
• Never put on prong collar over the dog's neck, it may injure the dog's eyes. It is better to unfasten a link.
• Do not leave a dog in a prong collar unsupervised.
• Follow to the collar to be worn behind the dog's ears and under the jaw line of your dog.
